About us
We help growing businesses do more without hiring more.
UpScale Automation builds bespoke automation for SMEs. We map how your work really runs, fix what's broken, build what's worth building and support it once it's live.
Why we started
Large companies are racing to automate. They're investing billions in AI, with the belief that one day it will let them cut delivery costs and lock smaller competitors out on price.
We don't accept that. We believe the future healthy economy belongs to smaller firms: small enough to move quickly, take bold decisions and put new technology to work before the big players can.
So we partner with those firms. We help them see where their time goes, take the routine work off their people, and grow without adding a hire for every new customer.
What we believe
-
Fix the process first
Automating a bad process just makes the mess faster. We improve the work before we automate it.
-
Say when it isn't worth it
If an automation won't pay, we tell you. The map is useful either way.
-
Keep people in control
Automation takes the routine work. Decisions that need judgement stay with your team.
-
Measure what it returns
We count successful work, not clicks, and label what's estimated and what's measured.
The MIDAS method
How we work
-
Model
A week on site with your team, mapping how the work really runs: every handover, every exception.
-
Identify
We fix the broken steps and rank every automation by what it's worth. If nothing is worth building, we say so.
-
Design
The automations you choose, specified against your systems, with people kept in the loop where judgement matters.
-
Automate
Built within 60 days and tested for five against measures we agreed. You pay for the build when it passes.
-
Scale
Supported, measured and reviewed. Then we rerun the map and clear the next bottleneck.
